Azur Hôtel Beausoleil
Azur Hotel has decided to offset CO2 emissions by planting trees. Azur Hotel has joined TREEDOM. The project is based on combining the well-being of the environment with the needs of the populations involved in agroforestry projects and activities aimed at combating soil erosion, enriching biodiversity, protecting soil fertility, creating sustainable ecosystems and increasing productivity of crops.
The hotel sector is increasingly sensitive to respect for the environment.
The two, in fact, can coexist as long as concrete actions are implemented, maintaining the same quality of service and the same level of comfort for customers.
This requires everyone to improve their practices:
Not everyone can afford to rethink an entire establishment but the potential for savings within a hotel is considerable.
Even without making great efforts, every hotel can do its part by adopting a series of simple and effective measures.
The eco-gestures we prefer, to save water and limit pollution
• Outside we clean with water (chemicals end up in nature)
• We put out cigarettes in the ashtrays
• We respect the doses of the products
• We wash the clothes at 40° and choose a short cycle (it is often sufficient)
• We reduce the flow of water from the taps
• We prefer showers
To save energy
• We use LED bulbs
• We design timed motion detector lighting for less frequented places
• We open the windows to let in light and ventilate naturally
To better manage waste
• We provide containers for waste separation and recycling
• We replace bathroom products with wall dispensers
• We provide reusable cups in the rooms, instead of plastic cups
• For the buffet breakfast we avoid food surpluses
